Legend on the Bench Reveals - A Very Special Day - 15 Feb 26

East Kent Spurs are incredibly proud to share that during 2025 we raised an amazing £28,000 for the charity Legend on the Bench.

This has made it possible for 14 suicide-prevention benches to be installed across East Kent — one in every major town.

The first five were unveiled on Sunday 15 February in Herne Bay, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate and Dover. It was a full day of travelling, reflection and coming together as a community.

Despite the rain, wind and bitter cold, the atmosphere was incredibly special and moving.

Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support the unveilings, it really means a lot to us. If these benches help even one person feel less alone, then every penny raised has been worth it.

More unveilings will be confirmed over the coming months.
